Why this matters

Coastal communities face habitat degradation, stronger climate hazards, waste pressures and limited biodiversity-friendly livelihood opportunities. Mangrove loss weakens shoreline protection, nursery habitat and the natural systems that support fisheries.

18-month implementation period, including baseline work, restoration, training, livelihood support and monitoring.

A transparent funding pathway.

Funding requirement: ₱3,500,000. PACIFICTECH counterpart: ₱500,000 in-kind.

Coordination targets include Barangay Batalay and the Municipal Government of Bato. Additional implementation, research and funding partners are invited.
